I couldn't help including textiles in my week away, so I did another of the texture studies. I used some raw linen and much larger needles than before. I did want to get something that is substantial enough and could be finished within the week, with only finishing to go. This mostly succeeded and I am very happy with my little study.

I am a textile artist and this blog documents my work. I spin, knit, weave and anything else that adds to the unique nature of my work. From one-off yarns and scarves to sculpture, these all make up my practice.

Hey Teresa, I really like the second drawing. Looks like colouring pencils could be a good thing for you to keep trying. I like the minimalism of it. Well done.
